A main hopper is divided by at least one party wall into compartments leading via adjustable throttles (sliding plate shutters) and funnel openings into a worm conveyor where at least two granular materials are continuously mixed. At least one divider wall runs lengthwise along the Archimedean screw tube in the immediate vicinity of the openings from the compartments. A further component, e.g. a colouring material may be fed into a discrete part of the conveyor by a separate feeder tube ending upstream of the openings from the main hopper esp. at the point where the materials from the hopper form a free surface. Relatively simple machine for mixing e.g. fresh and recovered plastic granular material in a fixed ratio e.g.
