<p>PURPOSE:To prevent lost feeding of a copy sheet caused by an influence of foreign matter and to prevent misfeed due to static electricity by disposing an electric charge erasing cleaning member brought into slidable contact with the outer peripheral surface of a sheet feed roll in the vicinity of the sheet feed roll. CONSTITUTION:Copy sheets 1 are stored in a sheet feed receptacle 2, and a receptacle holder 3 where the receptacle 2 is set is mounted on a machine body of a copying machine. Further, a sheet feed roll 4 for feeding a sheet 1 from the receptacle 2 set on the holder 3 to the interior of the machine is disposed on the machine body. In the thus constructed sheet feeder of the copying machine includes an electric charge erasing cleaning member 5 brought into slidable contact with the outer peripheral surface of the roll 4, which is disposed in the vicinity of the roll 4. Accordingly, lost feeding of a copy sheet is not caused by an influence of foreign matter such as paper dust, dust or the like, and even if a lot of copy sheets are continuously fed out, misfeed due to static electricity will not occur, which can accomplish stable feeding of a copy sheet reliably.</p> |
