PURPOSE:To maintain durability and to reduce a manufacturing cost, by a method wherein a metallic outer cylinder is formed by a stainless steel material, and a copper-brazing is applied between the outer periphery of a ceramic heater and the inner wall of the metallic outer cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic heater 1 is engaged with the inner wall of a metallic outer cylinder 4 of a stainless steel material, the forward end thereof is properly exposed from the forward end of the metallic outer cylinder 4 and is held. Copper-brazing between the ceramic heater 1 and the metallic outer cylinder 4 can be effected without reduction action of oxide. Such metallic outer cylinder of a stainless steel material has resistance to oxidation, and thereby the ceramic heater can be decreased in an exposed area size and breaking can be prevented from occurring. Furthermore, in case a copper-brazing material is used, a low quality silver brazing material can be used for bonding together of the metallic outer cylinder 4 and a metal 6, resulting in sharply reducing a manufacturing cost. |
