PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering in the porosity of a porous support even if said support is made thin to reduce heat capacity, in perforating thermal screen printing stencil paper by pressing the same to a thermal head by a platen roll, by forming said platen roll so as to make the surface thereof uneven. CONSTITUTION:A thermal head for use in thermal recording is pressed to thermal screen printing stencil paper, which is obtained by laminating a thermoplastic synthetic resin film (e.g., a polyester film with a thickness of 2mum) to a porous support, by using a platen roll having an uneven surface to perforate the aforementioned film. |
