PURPOSE:To facilitate the removal of air bubbles present in the liquid within a recording head, by forming the inside surface of a liquid flowline from the orifice thereof to the inflow port thereof into a hydromechanically smooth shape. CONSTITUTION:The entire inside surface of a nozzle 8 having an orifice 7 formed to the leading end thereof is formed into a hydromechanically smooth shape having no step part and an electromechanical converting element 3 is provided to the periphery of said nozzle 8 while a filter 9 is fixed to the end part thereof in a gap free state. By this structure, the adhesion of air bubbles to the liquid sump part of ink is prevented and air bubbles can be easily removed by suction or pressing and a normal emitting state can be restored. |
