PURPOSE:To contrive the acceleration of convection in a liquid phase, and to obtain the heat accumulating capsule having excellent heat energy absorbing performance by a method wherein the vertical relative position between a liquid phase and a solid phase is changed inversely, in a heat energy absorbing process. CONSTITUTION:A plate 4b processed by a shape memory alloy treatment is made to memorize the shape of a downward side recess curved surface at the B point temperature, and made to change to the shape of a downward side convex curved surface at the A point temperature, then sealed in a capsule 2. At the heating of a heat accumulating capsule 3 from outer periphery thereof, the temperature of a heat accumulating material is started from A point and moved to B point. In this case, a liquid phase 1a and a solid phase 1b coexist vertically in the capsule. When the temperature of a spring 4 is raised up to the B point, the shape of shape memory alloy 4b changes to upward convex curved surface, the memory alloy lifts the solid phase 1b. Therefore, the location of the liquid phase 1a and the solid phase 1b is reversed, the liquid heated on the cylindrical bottom part is lifted up, the liquid is taken away the heat energy thereof at the solid phase bottom part, then cooled and falls to the cylindrical bottom part. The convection in the liquid phase part is generated by said heating cycle, the solid phase 1b is melted perfectly, accordingly, the liquid temperature is raised up to the D point. |
