<p>Dipyridamol is dissolved in anhydrous pyridine, acetyl chloride added and the mixt. left at ambient temp for around 12 hours. 5% hydrochloric acid soln is then added with stirring, the mixt. dried with anhydrous calcium chloride and the ethyl acetate distilled off in vacuum leaving tetra-acetyl dipyridamol.</p> |
