PURPOSE:To prevent deformation and damage of a heat-insulating pipe during storage and transportation as well as make it liquid-tight by a method in which an end partition plate and an intermediate partition plate are fixed to an inner tube of a standard unit length, the periphery of the inner tube between the partition plates is covered with a heat-insulating material, and the inner tube is inserted into an outer tube of a length corresponding to the distance between the end partition plates. CONSTITUTION:End partition plates 3 are fixed to both ends of an inner tube 1 of a standard unit length by excluding the joint portion (baked tube) 2 of a given length. An intermediate partition plate 4 is also fixed to the tube 1 and partition plates 3 are bonded to the inner tube 1 to make it liquid-tight. The periphery of the inner tube 1 between the partition plates 3 and 4 is covered with a heat-insulating material 5, the inner tube 1 is inserted into an outer tube 6, and the partition plates 3 are strongly fixed to the outer tube 6. The periphery of the connections is covered with a heat-insulating material 7, and both ends of a protective short tube 8 are welded to the outer tube 5 to obtain a coupling structure. |
