<p>A rotary piston compressor which can also be used to pump fluids has a combined action resulting from the use of one or more conventional pistons attached eccentrically to the axis of rotation of a rotor which houses the piston and carrying out its own rotary movement. It may have a stator, and a rotor housing the piston attached to the spindle supported by the stator cover. The inlet opening is in the stator at the level of the head of the piston, and is uncovered during each rotation during the inlet phase. There is a non return valve on the piston head to allow fluid to be compressed at the maximum discharge point to leave through a tube located in the middle of the rotor, passing through the stator cover.</p> |
