发明名称 TRANSPORTATION OF GRANULAR MATERIAL THROUGH REINFORCED SPIRAL AIR CURRENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent direct contact of granular material to be transported with the inside wall of a pipe for eliminating abrasion of the piping material by forming a compressed annular air current layer by centrifugal force along the inside wall of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:There is formed in a pipe 1 a stable spiral air current flowing along the longitudinal direction of the pipe 1 from downward to upward, showing a swirling flow as seen in the section of the pipe. Small or light granular material such as ceramic particles and rice grains is added into the spiral air current from an inlet of the pipe 1. This is effective to reinforce the spiral air current, and such a reinforced spiral air current is useful to provide steady and effective transportation of large or heavy granular material without contact thereof with the inside wall of the pipe 1.
