PURPOSE:To prevent explosion of dust and prevent generation of dust by providing a casing for carrying in and feeding out material such as flake sulfur with a plurality of baffle plates and heating steam jet means. CONSTITUTION:In a casing provided with an inlet for carrying in material M and an outlet for feeding out the material, the first baffle plate 16 is disposed adjacent to the material inlet in such a manner as to incline in the first inclining direction to receive the carried-in material. The second baffle plate 30 is disposed in such a manner as to incline in the second inclining direction opposite to the first inclining direction to receive the material sliding down the baffle plate 16. The third baffle plate 32 is extended to the vicinity of an outlet 14 in sush a manner as to incline in the third inclining direction opposite to the second inclining direction to receive the material sliding down the baffle plate 30 and guide same to the outlet 14. First heating steam jet means 44, 46 are disposed opposite to the baffle plate 30, and second heating steam jet means 48, 50 are disposed opposite to the baffle plate 32. |
