PURPOSE:To substantially decrease the elevating distance of a carrier and to reduce the size of a whole device, by a method wherein a carrier, on which printed substrates are placed, is moved parallel to each pair of toothed rotary members, which rotate in synchronism with each other, during elevation of the carrier. CONSTITUTION:Rotary members 2 and 3 are rotated in the direction of an arrow mark A through the medium of a chain 17 and a winding-around transmission members 4 through driving of a motor 15, an engaging roller 28 of a carrier 6 is placed on a lower guide rail 45, and the carrier 6 is rotated in the direction of an arrow mark D by means of the winding-around transmission member 4 running in the same direction. With the passage of the engaging roller 28 of the carrier 6 through one end 45a of the lower guide rail 45, a mounting shaft 30 of the carrier 6 is raised with the rotation of the transmission member 4, and the shaft part of the carrier 6 is also engaged with a toothed rotary member 7 for raising the carrier. With the rotation of the rotary member 7, the engaging roller 28 is raised along a guiding member 46 for raising, the carrier 6 is raised as it is moved parallel thereto and is placed on an upper guide rail 43, and a printed substrate and an electronic part 55 are loaded on the carrier 6. |
