PURPOSE:To provide the paper printing apparatus of a printer capable of setting paper without generating jamming, constituted so as to be capable of holding paper bale roller to a state solely separated from a platen even if a pinch roller is contacted with the platen. CONSTITUTION:A fulcrum shaft 11 is constructed between the frames 9 provided to both sides of a printer and a pinch roller arm 12 for holding a pinch roller 4 and a pair of right and left operating bodies 13 are secured to said shaft 11. Both operating bodies 13 are energized counterclockwise by a spring 14. Projections 16, 17, which are engaged with the operation lever 15 inlaid with the shaft 10 of a platen 2, are formed to one operating body 13. Bale roller arms 18 are fixed to both ends of a shaft 5a for holding a paper bale roller 5 and protruded pieces 19 engaged with the upper ends of the operating bodies 13 are formed to said arms 18 while pins 20, 21 are provided thereto in an upstanding state and a slot 22 or holding the pin 20 in a freely revolvable and slidable manner and a recessed part 23 engaged with the pin 21 are formed to the frames 9. |
