Outdoor HV switchgear operative to 250kV - has devices on crosspieces supported above strip foundation and connected into phase groups

The outdoor h.v. switchgear can be used for voltages up to 250 kV and for all jobs involving open-air power distribution stations. The switchgear components are mounted on crosspieces resting on vertical supports standing on foundation bars or strips. Each unit (2) consists of not less than two poles with equal or non-equal ranking electrical devices on the same supports (4). The supports of adjacent units are connected together to a single assembly (11) and form the phase assembly (1) with the poles of the electrical devices in adjacent units.
