PURPOSE:To produce the titled powder useful as a feed for fish, insoluble in water when scattered into water, and accordingly free from contamination of water, by thermally coagulating an emulsion of a protein raw material and oil or fat, crushing the coagulated product, and spray-drying the crushed powder. CONSTITUTION:A thermally coagulable protein raw material (e.g. whole egg liquid, lactoalbumin, soybean protein, etc.) is mixed with an oil or fat (e.g. soybean oil, corn oil, fish oil, etc.), and the obtained emulsion is coagulated by heating at about 95-110 deg.C for about 1-2hr. The coagulum is crushed to about 50-100mu diameter with a mixer, colloid mill, etc., if necessary added with about 3 times weight of water to convert the powder into liquid, and the product is spray-dried to obtain a dried protein food containing oil and fat and having a particle diameter of about 50-100mu. |
