发明名称 FUEL SUPPLY CONTROL METHOD FOR DIESEL ENGINE USING TWO KINDS OF FUEL
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent drop of the engine output, by reducing the injection quantity of liquid fuel at a specific rate within a range of the throttle valve opening greater than a prescribed value, and supplying gas fuel instead thereof in case of drawing gas fuel into liquid fuel in a diesel engine. CONSTITUTION:When an engine switch 8 is turned ON, a solenoid valve 12a is opened. Further, when an accelerator pedal 6 is depressed, a link rod 7 is moved in the direction shown by an arrow in the drawing and a limit switch 10 is turned ON by an actuator 11, so that an injection-quantity controller 9 is set into operation and an injection pump lever 19 is retracted. At the same time, a solenoid valve 12b is opened and gas fuel such as LPG, LNG or the like is drawn into an engine 1. Here, the injection quantity of liquid fuel is reduced by 10-35% within the range of the throttle-valve opening greater than a prescribed value where the concentration of black smoke contained in exhaust gas is raised, and instead thereof, gas fuel such as LPG, LNG or the like is supplied to the engine. By thus reducing emission of black smoke, it is enabled to raise the thermal efficiency of the engine and to prevent knocking of the same.
