<p>1316601 Pressurised dispensing container DART INDUSTRIES Inc 1 May 1970 [2 May 1969] 21162/70 Heading F1R A valve for dispensing the contents of a double compartmented pressurised container through a common outlet comprises a flexible valve element 46 seated on a stationary valve seat 52, the upper side of which communicates through a passage 60 with one compartment and the lower side of which communicates with the other compartment. A movable valve head 90 seats on the flexible valve element and is integral with an axially movable valve stem 66 having a discharge passage 74. The stem also has fins 80 to 84 which engage the upper surface of the element 46 to force it away from the seat 52 and the head 90 has ridges 88 on its upper surface which distort the element to ensure full opening of the valve on actuation of the stem. The valve housing 10 may, in an embodiment, be integral with the inner compartment.</p> |
