PURPOSE:To facilitate positioning and eliminate much labour in installation by preventing a chassis-side panel from being injured uselessly by screwing a bolt onto a base seat part fixed onto the chassis panel through a fitting plate. CONSTITUTION:A belt weather strip molding for car is constituted of a supporting part 10, lip 11 made of soft synthetic resin, decoration surface part 12 formed into bent form so as to be positioned onto the car-outside from the upper edge side of the supporting part 10, and the section has a nearly U-figure form. The sectional edge of the terminal part in which a part of the supporting part 10 is cut is covered with an end cap 13, and a base seat part 14 whose flat surface is adjusted to the cut edge and is fitted and fixed is installed in the decoration surface part 12 having a nearly C-figure shaped section. A fitting plate 15 installed integrally with a molding body is installed in correspondence with the base seat part 14, and a bolt is screwed into the bolt hole 15a of the plate 15 and fixed onto a chassis-side panel. |
