PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for on-off control over an electrifier by irradiating a no print area of a photosensitive body which corresponds to a form interval with laser light modulated according to print data while keeping its light emission state as it is, and discharging the area. CONSTITUTION:An on-off circuit 10 for a laser inputs a signal through an OR gate 11 to turn on and off the laser. The print signal P sent from a data generator is inputted to one input terminal of the OR gate 11, and the signal Q corresponding to the form interval l is inputted to the other input terminal. While the print signal is inputted, the signal Q corresponding to the form interval is never inputted. Namely, the signal Q turns on when a form is irradiated completely with laser light for the print of one sheet, and keeps on state until on/off modulation is imposed upon the laser light by the start of printing of next form. |
