A storage device (2) for storing approximately cylindrical articles (1), in particular cans and bottles, consists of at least two shaft-like storage channels (3) which extend approximately parallel and are used for receiving the articles. The two storage channels are connected to one another at their ends by means of a curved outer wall (4), so that the articles (1) can be conveyed from one channel into the other by pushing them. This provides for a particularly simple and space-saving storage in narrow and deep boxes or shelves. A particular article can be located by pushing the articles round, and without a disorderly unstacking being necessary. The length of the storage channels (3) can be increased by means of individual elements (8) which can be joined together. <IMAGE>
