PURPOSE:To prevent grounding of secondary voltage in case the engine is not overrunning and improve riding feeling during the driving of a vehicle by a method wherein a plurality of gaps are provided between an earth plate and a movable arm as well as a rotary shaft, which are attached to the distributing rotor. CONSTITUTION:A distributing arm 1 is fixed to the insulating resin 4 of the rotor by rivets 5. The movable arm 2 is connected by a spring 3 suspended between the protuberance 2a thereof and the protuberance 1a of the distributing arm 1 and is attached slidably with respect to the insulating resin 4. The spring 7, for fixing the distributing rotor, is fixed in the insulating resin 4 and is detachably attached to the rotary shaft 6. The earth plate 8 is fixed to the insulating resin 4. In this case, gaps L1, L2 are provided between the movable arm 2 and the earth plate 8 as well as the rotary shaft 6 and the earth plate 8 respectively. Accordingly to this method, the secondary voltage of the ignition coil is distributed by the plurality of gaps L1, L2 and the resistance to voltage of the rotor may be improved by the voltage distributing effect of the gaps. |
