PURPOSE:To self travel horizontally on a staircase by functioning a wheel height adjusting mechanism on the basis of a signal produced from an inclination detector. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder for adjusting the hight of wheel 2 is placed between each wheel 2 and frame 1 while a gyro inclination detector 6 for detecting the inclination of frame is provided on the frame 1. On the basis of an inclination signal from the inclination detector 6, a controller will control the function of cylinder 5 to maintain the frame 1 horizontal. When carrying material, the load table 9 is removed from a hook 8 to be placed on specific floor face and mounts the material 10. Thereafter, the carrier body is moved such that the left/right wheels 2 will stride over the load table 9 and positioned on it. Thereafter, the load table 9 is suspended by a suspender 7. |
