PURPOSE:To rationalize the assembling of a liquid crystal wristwatch by facilitating the assembling and connection of parts, by forming a hole for mounting the display surface side of a liquid crystal display body, an opposed base plate mounted to the back surface of the display surface side base plate in a state protruded so as to be succeeded to the hole and the escape part of electronic constitutional parts, and providing a glass window at the position corresponding to the display part of the liquid crystal display body. CONSTITUTION:Electronic constitutional parts consisting of a semiconductive integrated circuit 5, a crystal oscillator 6 and a battery 7 are mounted to the back surface of a display surface side base plate 2 at a part not opposed to an opposed base plate 3. A wiring circuit 8 is preliminarily printed to a part of said base plate 2 prior to mounting the parts and, by soldering the terminals of the parts to this circuit 8, the connection of the circuit and the mounting of the parts are simultaneously performed. In addition, a housing 9 receiving and holding the liquid crystal display body 1 is molded from an insulating synthetic resin and a hole 10 for inlaying and mounting the base plate 2 of the liquid crystal display body 1, the opposed base plate mounted to the base plate 2 in a state protruded to the back surface thereof so as to be succeeded to the hole 10 and escape parts 11-14 of the parts are formed. Further, a glass window 16 is provided to an outer case at a position opposed to the display part of the received liquid crystal display body. |
