Deceleration is sensed by an inverted control rocker (72) rotating about an axis (73) and inclined rearward in normal travel. The slope is compensated by another rocker (75) with a heavier balance weight (74) in a viscous liq. reservoir (80) below its pivot (76), about which the movement is limited by shock-absorbent stops (77,78) to a max. angle of 22 deg. - The second rocker remains vertical on the level and on slopes. Its shock-absorbent end stop (79) adjusts continuously the slope of the inverted rocker by abutment against its balance weight (71). Under rapid deceleration beyond a predetermined threshold, the stop (79) is delayed w.r.t. the movement of the inverted rocker in the opposite direction. The balance weight is thus caused to complete the circuit between two contacts
