The arrangement is intended for preparing an egg instead of by conventional boiling in water. Coagulation is produced by heating using a hot air flow which causes rotation of the egg, the rotational speed increasing as coagulation proceeds. - Coagulation is accelerated by electrically heating the holder containing the egg. A sensor detects the rotational speed and activates a buzzer when this speed reaches a pre-set value representing soft, medium, or hard-boiled condition.
