PURPOSE:To prevent intrusion of water drip on the drive shaft into the engine by providing a cutwater screw on the inner face at the portion penetrating through the drive shaft. CONSTITUTION:A watercut screw 29 is provided at the penetrating section 27 of drive shaft 19 in an intermediate member 15. The winding direction of ridges 29A, 29B is set such that a force (F) directing toward the opposite side of engine is applied onto the water drip on the drive shaft 19. Consequently, water drip will drop at the opposite side of engine due to the influence of downward draft caused by collision against the watercut screw 29 and the existence of said screw 29, to prevent intrusion through sealing members 23, 22 into the engine 16 even under the influence of vibration of drive shaft 19 or pulsating exhaust produced in the casing. |
