Armature-retaining spring for dual-in-line relays

Armature-retaining springs in dual-in-line relays are installed only between the armature and housing, which leads to more complex installation of the relay and, furthermore, does not solve the problem of armature bouncing. In contrast, an armature-retaining spring is specified which can be plugged on to the relay yoke and allows the relay motor assembly to be prefabricated and a defined force to be exerted on the armature in the direction in which the bouncing tendency is at its maximum, so that the bouncing times of the contacts are reduced.
