The invention relates to a connecting device for elements for the construction of grid structures, as well as such elements and structures constructed therefrom. The connecting device is characterised in that the end (17) of each element (4, 5) and the part (21) of the body (13) which corresponds to the projection of the cross-section of this element (4, 5) onto its side surface have mutually opposite surfaces which form supporting and bearing surfaces (17 and 21) having shapes which are complementary overall. These devices and the associated elements can be used for the construction of grid structures.
