PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition obtained by adding an aluminosilicate containing adsorbed carbon dioxide gas to a dentifrice compounded with various preventives and remedies for periodontosis, etc., capable of promoting the absorption of the above preventive and remedy or perfumery component through the oral mucosa by the action of generated carbon dioxide gas and giving refreshing feeling to the mouth. CONSTITUTION:A dentifrice containing various preventive and remedy for periodontosis, perfumery, etc., e.g. drugs such as ascorbic acid, fluorine compound, enzyme, etc., a surfactant, an abrasive, etc., is further compounded with an aluminosilicate containing adsorbed carbon dioxide gas as an active component. The aluminosilicate is preferably a synthetic zeolite of formula (M is metallic atom having atomic valence of n; x is 0.7-1.5; y is 0.8-10; z>=0) because of low impurity content. The metal is preferably calcium from the viewpoint of stability and that free of water is preferable. The particle diameter is preferably 0.5-100mu and especially 1-40mu to attain an excellent feeling to the mouth. |
