Torsionally elastic, vibration damping shaft coupling, the torque of which is transmitted from the primary part to the secondary part by a coupling part, which comprises two coupling rings 5 and 6 concentrically arranged over one another, which are connected to one another by way of an axial thrust device 7, and the outer coupling ring 5 has an axial toothing 8 on its outside diameter, which is connected to the primary part 1, and the inner coupling ring 6 has an axial toothing 9 on its inside diameter, which is connected to the secondary part 3, a back-up ring 11 being arranged to the side of the coupling rings, between which back-up ring and the housing cover 2 disc springs 12 are located.
