PURPOSE:To prevent electrostatic charges from being generated and contrive to enhance chemical resistance and head matching property, by a method wherein a protective layer comprising a water-soluble polymer, a filler and a conductive agent is provided on a thermal color forming layer comprising a leuco dye and a color developer as main constituents, and the surface resistance thereof is specified. CONSTITUTION:The protective layer comprising a water-soluble polymer, a filler and a conductive agent as main constituents is provided on the thermal color forming layer comprising a leuco dye, a color developer and auxiliary additives. The amount of the conductive agent used is so set that the protective layer has a surface resistance of not higher than 10<12>OMEGA. Accordingly, various troubles associated with electrostatic charging are prevented from occurring, reduction in sensitivity is suppressed, and image stability is enhanced. |
