PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of an inverter circuit by employing a configuration for conducting one of a pair of power transistors in response to the direction of a current flowed to the input winding of a transformer, thereby preventing the instantaneous shortcircuit between the transistors with a simple configuration. CONSTITUTION:An inverter circuit 1 has pairs of unit power transistors Q1 and Q1', Q2 and Q2', Q3 and Q3' for forming arms of 3-phase bridge. Transformers T1-T3 for controlling the power transistors are provided for the respective sets. The directions of the currents flowed to the input windings of the transformers T1-T3 are controlled by a signal generator 2, and any of the power transistors of the respective sets is conducted in response thereto. |
