PURPOSE:To simplify a transmission mechanism and realize high development efficiency by arranging plural rolls for development adjacently, rotating the magnet roll of one of them and rotating all rolls by magnetic attractive and repulsive force. CONSTITUTION:The rolls 3, 4, and 5 for development are arranged adjacently facing a recording drum 1, and a rotary driving shaft 10 is fitted to the magnet roll 6 of the developing roll 3. When the roll 6 is rotated as shown by an arrow U through a timing belt 16 and a pulley 17, magnetic attractive and repulsive forces operate between the magnet rolls in other developing rolls, which are rotated as shown by arrows V and W respectively. Thus, the transmission mechanism is simplified to eliminate a noise, and a device with high development efficiency is realized by the composite development using the three developing rolls. |
