PURPOSE:To facilitate the insulation of input/output sides by controlling the reset time product of square saturable reactor to control the frequency. CONSTITUTION:When the output voltage detected by a detecting amplifier 19 which mainly includes a Zener voltage of a Zener diode 22 and an error amplifying transistor 23 becomes higher than the set value, the transistor 23 is directed deeply toward the conducting direction, and the voltage of the resistor 21 is accordingly increased. Thus, a control voltage V16 also becomes high, thereby increasing the oscillating frequency of a converter. Thus, the charging current of an MOSFET3 becomes relatively low at the turning ON time, but the input current is low at this moment. Accordingly, the turning ON less of the MOSFET3 is small, and when the input current at the turning OFF time is high, an ideal operation is performed by the abrupt saturation of a square saturable reactor 14. |
