PURPOSE:To obtain a humidity detecting device which has high mechanical strength by holding a humidity detecting element on a substrate in a bridge shape with a couple of lead wires which clamps it from both surfaces. CONSTITUTION:The ceramics humidity detecting element 6 which has electrodes 7 and 8 formed on both surfaces by baking or vapor diposition is supported on the substrate 10 through the couple of lead wires 11 and 12 while facin an opening 10. The lead wires 11 and 12 are fixed at center parts 13 and 14 to the electrodes 7 and 8 by baking, and both end parts 15 and 16, and 17 and 18 are soldered to terminals 20 and 21, and 22 and 23 provided on one surface 19 of the substrate 9. Printed wirings 24 and 25 of copper couple one-side terminals 21 and 23 with external terminals 26 and 27. Lead wires 28 and 29 for external terminals are soldered to te external terminals 26 and 27. |
