<p>The machine is particularly for the production of lattice-work gratings, having a truck moving to and fro along a guide track for the bars so as to move them along this track after each bending operation. A punch moves on a track intersecting the guide track so as to bend a part of the bars. There are two successive bending points on the guide track, opposite which the outer ends of the bars are situated while the bending operation is performed between them. The first bending point is fixed, and the second is on a slide moving to and fro on the truck in the same direction as the truck travels. The punch is moved along a path produced by the resultant of the movement of the bars in a straight line and a movement at right angles to this.</p> |
