PURPOSE:To shorten the length of a recording medium required for data recording and a data read time by recording the inversion data of one block and the information indicating the inversion in case much of a binary coded data with a long period is included in the block. CONSTITUTION:Binary data having two different periods are read out from a data source 1, and when the total number of bits in one page of the data source 1 exceeds the half of a total number of bits in one page, a microprocessor 2 decides that the binary data having a long period are much included and selects an inverted read-out signal from the source 1 through an inverter 3. Said signal and the information indicating the inversion which is outputted from the processor 2 through an interface circuit 4 are recorded in a cassette recorder 5. Thus, the length of the recording medium required for the recording of two binary data having different periods and the data reading time are shortened. |
