<p>the applicator is designed to effectively contain stored powder during application, to store it in a sealed state between applications and to otherwise effect a controlled application and constitutes a handled (9) pad (11) tipped rod which enters the capsule (1) by way of a tube (2) which extends via an inner cylindrical neck towards the base of the capsule. The pad (11), which serves to pick up powder for deposition on eyelids etc, is of somewhat greater dia. than the entry tube (2), and the rod length is such that full insertion of the applicator into the capsule leaves the pad still partly within the tube, thus sealing powder between uses. Pref. this rod length also ensures that the pad projects beyond the tube to be flush with the capsule base.</p> |
