FUEL CONTROL DEVICE FOR ENGINE

摘要

PURPOSE:To make it possible to supply an engine required amount of fuel after it is sufficiently atomized, over a whole operating range with a simple construction, by using a fuel rgulator and a fuel injector for atomizing fuel regulated by the regulator with the use of pressurized air. CONSTITUTION:Fuel from a fuel tank 6 is pressurized by a fuel pump 8 and is fed to a fuel injector 11 through a fuel passage 12. Further, air in an air-cleaner 1 is pressurized by an air pump 9 after passing through a suction passage 13 and is fed into the fuel injector 11 through a pressurized air passage 15 disposed therein with an air regulator 14. A fuel regulator 10 comprises a fuel chamber 16 disposed in the intermediate section of the fuel passage 12, a vacuum chamber 18 disposed in opposite to the fuel chamber 16 through the intermediary of a first diaphragm 17 and an air chamber 20 in opposite to the vacuum chamber 18 through the intermediary of a second diaphragm 19.
