PURPOSE:To improve the throughout uniformity of reproduced hue by providing an SAW (surface acoustic wave) filter, which can set an amplitude characteristic and a delay characteristic independently of each other, in an indx signal processing circuit. CONSTITUTION:With respect to filters 16-18 consisting of SAW filters, their delay time characteristics can be made flat while designing amplitude characteristics as conventional. Consequently, the delay time in the index signal processing circuit is always kept constant even if an index signal frequency is changed by the variance in picture plane size and the distortion in horizontal linearity, and thus, the throughout uniformity of reproduced hue is held well. |
