PURPOSE:To enhance the sensitivity of the titled recording material, by using not only a fluorane compound having relatively low m.p. and high reactivity as a leuco dye but also a specific phenolic substance having relatively low m.p. and high color developable capacity as a coupler. CONSTITUTION:At least one fluorane compound represented by formula (wherein R is a 1-4C alkyl group and X is alkoxypropyl or tetrahydrofuryl) is used as a leuco dye. As a coupler, a compound selected from 1,7-di(4- hydroxyphenylthio)3,5-dioxaheptane, benzyl p-hydroxybenzoate and methyl 4- dydroxyphthalate is contained. As a sensitizer, by together using dialkoxynaphthalene or p-benzyl biphenyl, sensitivity can be further enhanced. |
