PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive material superior in color development efficiency of a coupler, and improved in image quality and storage stability of a dye image by using a specified cyan coupler. CONSTITUTION:A compd. to be used as a cyan coupler has general formula I in which A is carbonyl, (carboxy carbone atom bond to -NH- directly), or sulfonyl; L is symmetric or asymmetric bivalent org. group; R1, R2 are each alkyl, aryl, heterocyclic, alicyclic hydrocarbon, or -NEF where E, F are each hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, heterocyclic, alicyclic hydrocarbon, acylamino, sulfonyl, sulfonamide, and each may be same or different, and R1 and R2 may be same or different; and Z1, Z2 are each H or a group releasable on coupling with the oxided product of an aromatic primary amine type developing agent, and each may be same or different. |
