PURPOSE:To improve installation work performance by permitting the engagement of one-side part of an instrument pad by projectingly installing a positioning engagement member onto the upper surface of an instrument panel and fixing the other edge part of the instrument pad to a ventilator grill. CONSTITUTION:On an instrument pad P covering an instrument panel I, rectangular engagement holes 20 are formed onto the both sides in the vicinity of the egde of a front glass 7 on the upper surface of the instrument pad P, and the opened ports 11 corresponding to the grill opened port 21 of the panel I are formed onto the both sides of the front surface of the pad P. A positioning engaging member 22 is projectingly formed corresponding to the engagement hole 20 onto the upper surface of the panel I. Said engagement member 22 is constituted of a pair of engagement hooks 23 having the inclinded part 24 which downwardly inclines towards the front glass 7 side and an engaging hook part 25 for pressing down the edge part of the engagement hole 20 on the pad P, and the upper surface side of the pad P can be engaged. The front surface side of the pad P is fixed by a ventilator grill 10 fitted into the opened ports 11 and 21. |
