PURPOSE:To color only the circumference of a lens at a low cost by using a lens whose center part is projected, and which has formed a lower circumferential wall than the center part on the circumferential edge part, and packing a coloring material in the circumferential wall, and hardening or drying it. CONSTITUTION:A lens body 10 has a circumferential wall 12 lower than a curvature surface 11 and an installing part 13 on the circumferential edge part of the transparent curvature surface 11 whose center part is projected. The body 10 is placed horizontally, a coloring material 20 prepared in advance by coloring a transparent liquid is packed in the inside of the wall 12, also this coloring material is hardened or dried, and a colored surface whose coloring density becomes gradually low toward the center part from the circumferential part is formed. As for the wall 12, its section can be trapezoidal or semi-circular. Also, the installing part 13 is usually provided. As for the coloring material 20, for instance, a clear paint using an ultraviolet hardened resin as a material is used as a transparent liquid, and a dyestuff such as a synthetic dye, a dispersion dye or an oily dye, etc. and a coloring material of other pigment, etc. are mixed. |
