PURPOSE:To prevent igntion of sample gas prior to contact with a catalyst, by supplying the sample gas and combustion-aiding gas in a separate manner at the preheating stage. CONSTITUTION:On upper and lower reaches of a gas passage 2 inside a quartz glass tube 1, insulators 3, 4 are arranged in a manner as welded to caps 5, 6, 7 and 8 represent supply passages of a combustion-aiding gas A and that of sample gas SG respectively, and individual injecting parts 7a, 8a are located near a catalyst chamber 15 on the upper reach side and both are arranged in the axial direction in slender shapes and in series orientations and it is shaped into an insulator 3 positioned at the upper reach. Combustion-aiding gas A and sample gas SG flow through separate passages 7, 8 and introduced after preheating by a heater 25 and after combustion in the catalyst chamber 15, they are discharged through a discharge passage 9. Thermocoupls 11 and 19 detect gas temperatures after and before combustion. |
