摘要 PURPOSE:To perform automatic controlling of high accuracy by detecting the surface temp. of a wire material by placing temp. detectors in the position near the mean temp. thereof, and controlling the flow rate of the cooling media of cooling pipes according to the thus detected temp. signals. CONSTITUTION:Temp. detectors 7-1, 2 are provided on the wire material inlet side of a cooling pipe 3 and the position of a conveyor 6, and the temp. signals 7-1a, 2a of the detected wire material 2 are inputted to adders 8-1, 2 acting as comparators. Reference temp. signals thetar1, thetar2 are inputted respectively to the adders. The adder 8-1 inputs the differential signal 8-1a of the reference temp. signal thetar1 and the temp. signal 7-1a to an amplifier 9-1, the amplified signal 9-1a is used as the driving signal of a servo valve 10-1. The servo valve 10-1 controls the flow rate of cooling water to the cooling pipe 3 based on this. The adder 8-2 likewise transmits the signal 9-2a from the reference temp. signal thetar2 and the temp. 7-2a to a servo valve 10-2 via an amplifier 9-2, so that the flow rate of the cooling water of a cooling pipe 4 is controlled.
