PURPOSE:To suppress vibrations generated when a gear is engaged by adsorbing a permanent magnet on the surface of a magnetic gear by means of its magnetic suction force. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet 2A is adsorbed on the surface of a magnetic gear 1 by means of its magnetic suction force. Thereby, vibrations are applied to the contact face with the gear 1 against the sticking force due to the magnetic suction force of the permanent magnet 2A during power transmission, and a slight slipping motion of the permanent magnet 2A is generated. The vibration energy is converted into the thermal energy at the contact face between the magnet 2A and the gear 1 due to vibrations accompanied with this shearing motion, thus suppressing vibrations generated when the gear 1 is engaged. |
