PURPOSE:To permit easy centering and exchanging of dies and to reduce working time by providing die units attachably and detachably to and from a frame and a ram so that the dies can be exchanged and centered. CONSTITUTION:A press-forming machine consists of a frame 2, a ram 3 provided movably and forth thereto, etc. The 1st and 2nd die units 6, 24 for press- forming are attachably and detachably provided to and from the frame 2 and the ram 3 are fixed to the frame 2 and the ram 3 by means of a holding mechanism 16. A centering member 35 is provided projectably outward to one of the units 6, 24 and a positioning hole 44 is opened to face the member 35. The units 6, 24 which are temporally held by the mechanism 16 approach to each other, then the member 35 is inserted into the hole 44 and the units are centered. The units 6, 24 which are centered in such a way are respectively fixed to the frame 2 and the ram 3. |
