PURPOSE:To eliminate the needs to vertically move a thermal head every printing time by supporting an elastic part to support a thermal head by two elastic pieces extending toward the driving direction of a card in a vertically movable manner to the printing face. CONSTITUTION:When a card 7 is inserted between a thermal head 8 and a roller 15, the heating point 8a of the head is pushed up toward the direction of being separated from the roller 15 by the card 7, the elastic force of elastic pieces 10a and 10b acts on the direction of the roller 15, and the heating points 8a is pressed on the card 7 under a proper set pressure. Under the condition, the head 8 is electrically energized through a flexible printed base plate 19, the heating point 8a is heated, and thermal printing is made on the card 7. The needs to vertically move the card in relation to the ticket paper every printing can be eliminated, and a simplified and miniaturized constitution of printer can be obtained. |
