PURPOSE:To prevent falling of dust to lower storage spaces of a shelf having a plurality of subdivided storage spaces arranged in lines and columns in an equipment having a conveying device movable along the shelf by providing a dust receiving surface below right and left cargo holding surfaces of each subdivided storage space. CONSTITUTION:A cargo storage equipment has a conveying device 16 movable in a predetermined path along a shelf which has a frame structure composed of an upper frame 8, lower frame 9, vertical frames 10 and others. Handling of a cargo into and out of a desired subdivided storage space 11 in the shelf is carried out by combination of running of the conveying device 16 in the predetermined path, upward and downward movement of an elevating table 43 and crosswise extension and retraction of a fork 44. In this installation, there is provided at each subdivided storage space 11 a dust receiving surface comprising a partition 15 disposed below a pair of right and left cargo holding surfaces between the vertical frames 10. This is effective to prevent falling of dust to the lower subdivided storage spaces 11 at handling of cargoes. |
